Records tracking
Government entity challenged with receipt submissions. Before our application came into fruition there was no easy way to track submissions. Many times this was tracked via email and other similar channels which led to a poor experience on both reviewer and submitter. Retrieval and searching through these documents created tremendous delays and lost productivity.
The Solution – Esiw Corporation provided the support and coding with the aid of Pega 8.8.3 platform utilizing Pega’s superior Business Process Management (BPM) capabilities. Providing a nightly batch job, we connected an API that goes out to the system of record every night and pulled all the submissions. If the submission is new, a new pega case was created corresponding to that submission. If it was existing, then we updated that Pega case corresponding to that submission with any new details that were added. Final task was to take in all the raw data received from the system of record and converting it into readable user friendly information that the customer can relate to on the UX portal.
Return on investment –The application was built to allow the submitter to see the current stage of their submission along with what has already been completed by the reviewer. This allows both parties to keep track of the submission in one centralized area.
